Sandwiched between Carnegie Hall and the Metropolitan like a dollop of caviar betwen two pieces of black bread, the historic Russian Tea Room is resurrected once again by the Nouveau Riche. The former artists' salon retains its bloc-era opulence with samovars and the juggling bear, but the traditional Soviet menu has morphed into a more modern European cuisine.
