So you were a little ticked at Josh Ozersky for naming his blog—The Feedbag—so closely to yours, The Feed?
We knew about it in advance and we tried to impress upon him that there are a lot of other great names out there that don't contain our name, but I guess they couldn't think of any.
What was your favorite burger at the Burger Bash?
It's hard to pick a burger that hits the spot more than Shake Shack's. Market Table was good. 67 Burger from Fort Greene was good.
Any disappointment so far among the events?
I don't think so. It looks like the city's really embraced it. One thing though: I feel like they've really kind of brought a Miami aesthetic up here. There are a lot of girls wearing really skimpy spandex dresses that I've seen in Atlantic City, but not New York City.
Master mixology after the market crash of '08: A way to drown our sorrows, or soon to be extinct as high rollers tighten their belts?
I don't think the mastery of alcohol is going anywhere, especially not because of the economy.
