The deal: On Tuesdays at this near–Columbia University canteen, $19.90 nets limitless grilled pizzas, dessert, salad and a frothy Butternuts microbrew. The pies include standouts like broccoli rabe and sweet sausage, forest mushroom and ricotta, and prosciutto paired with provolone.
Worth it? Though you can snag a two-buck slice anywhere, these are artisanal pies, my friend. Chow through two pizzas, and you've already bested the deal. Plus, diners receive a free beer and, not that it's needed, dessert too.
For serious eaters: "I've seen a group of guys put away four pizzas apiece, but that's a lot. These pizzas are not small," says manager Jim Ciacci. "Three pizzas will fill up just about anybody."
