Kabab Factory
The deal: This Spartan Indian restaurant situated in the heart of Curry Hill offers a devil of a belt-busting deal: Prices start at $6.95 (vegetarian; $8.95 meat) for bottomless rations (served in small bowls, one at a time) of rotating daily specials, including smoky tandoori drumsticks and yogurt-cooled chicken tiki masala.
Worth it? For a paltry price, you can overeat Indian treats with reckless abandon. Better yet, none of the food has been marinating on a steam table-everything is freshly prepared to order.
For serious eaters: "Customers come here hungry," says manager Gaurav Anand. "At dinner, I don't see people eat as much as they do during lunch."
