Must be something in the water: New York is having a seafood moment (see: John Dory, Butcher Bay, the soon-to-open Marea). The latest catch: Harbour, a sleek Soho seafood spot with a strong emphasis on sustainability, and the man steering the ship is Michelin-starred chef Joe Isidori.
Isidori earned his stripes by somehow avoiding the words "You're fired!" while working for Donald Trump for six years. In fact, he even collaborated with Jean-Georges Vongerichten on the menu for Trump's 2005 nuptials to Melania Knauss. (What was bigger, we asked—his ingredient list for the wedding or Melania's dress? "The dress!" he laughs heartily.)
Apparently, the Trump gig was big for Isidori, too: Earlier this year, he earned a Michelin star for his work as exec chef at DJT at the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas.
