Gamberi Fra Diavolo | Da Nico

The spooky scoop: They say the devil is in the details, but it's also in your dinner at Little Italy long-timer Da Nico. At this classy, white-tablecloth canteen, diners can devour coal-fired brick-oven pizza or sample a hellacious little dish dubbed "brother devil." There's no need to break out the rosary beads and holy water, but you should bring an appetite.
Frighteningly delicious? Da Nico's brother devil (a.k.a fra diavolo) consists of fiery, marinara-slicked jumbo shrimp served on a bed of al dente linguini. It's a dish fit for sinners, saints and Mafioso-the restaurant was a reported hangout for criminal figures.
