Singa’s Famous Pizza

All those carbs have given me a mighty thirst. Looking for a drink, I pop into Singa’s Famous Pizza (176 Second Ave., 212-253-7300), which also sells Bombay-style wraps (dubbed “Frankies”) and beer—until 10 p.m. daily a pitcher of brew runs $5, while a cup costs $1.
“Bud, Bud Light or Coors Light?” queries the counterman with metal-adorned teeth.
“The Silver Bullet, of course,” I order. I pass him my dollar bill and take my fizzy prize back to a table.
