Food inflation has really emphasized the “up” aspect to this restaurant’s name. The one-buck pepperoni, meatball and chicken wraps have been eliminated. The only items that fit my parameters are hot dogs and toast with condensed milk and peanut butter. I opt for the peanut butter and condensed milk.

“Is that all?” the gruff counterman barks.

“Mmm hmm,” I answer, wondering how a sandwich can be constructed with condensed milk.
