El Paso taco truck
We’d originally planned to start slow with chicken. Then work our way up to pork. Instead, we order beef tongue. Our “lengua” taco is mildly beefy, lightly chewy and—except for an extremely tongue-y looking piece with tiny bristles (pictured)—an all-around pleasing experience. We figure just about any meaty extreme would taste good topped with fresh cilantro, onion and El Paso’s fresh and spicy salsa verde, but still make a mental note to eat with our eyes closed next time.
