At Grand Sichuan House, the menu is conveniently divided into “American Chinese” and “Authentic Sichuan.” Most restaurants don’t do this, so don’t be afraid to ask for their most authentic dishes. If you tell your server straight-up that you’re adventurous, you’ll likely end up with more non-Western recommendations. We want to try the Chengdu Sister’s Rabbit, but they’re out of it. Oh, well.
