What summer produce are you most looking forward to?
It’s a toss-up between Thai basil and black raspberries. Black raspberries are bloody and rich with tart juice like red wine.
What's the best barbecue in NYC?
I’m not a big barbecue fan. I suppose I'll be getting a call tomorrow from the barbecue board. But I would have to say Daisy May's. Adam Perry Lang has the nerve to smoke chickens, and he cooks the most incredibly juicy beef. He’s an artist.
