Have you ever spotted Frank Bruni in your restaurant?
No. He hates us. He's never reviewed us, but we were on his blog and he refused to accept the concept of the restaurant. He thinks we're crap. He thinks we're a kitsch or fad restaurant. Regardless, you should give the chef a chance to prove what they have in their repertoire.
What's your message for the new Times critic?
I hope they're more opened minded, in general. Bruni was very snobby and old-guard. Also, he had no food credentials.
Does Frank Bruni have a passion for food?
If you read his reviews, it seems like he hates food. He doesn't seem very educated or passionate.
