The Lower East Side is truly an American melting pot, and that goes for its pickles as well as its people. The Ninth Annual New York City International Pickle Day celebrated the wide range of pickled goods that call the city home: from Guss's classic kosher dills and Russ & Daughters's pickled herring to Chinese pickled ginger and pickled beets from Rick's Picks.
