Lunetta
You’re probably bummed that Lunetta closed its short-lived Manhattan spin-off, but no need to pitch a fit. (“Want some cheese to go with that whine?”—ha. Couldn't resist) Although Lunetta's Gramercy branch is no more, the charming original Brooklyn outpost is still going strong, serving up pinenut-studded meatballs and the rightfully famous ricotta (handmade on site and so popular it's now available at retail). The wine list is exclusively Italian and pays special attention to organic and biodynamic producers.

Until this picture, I never realized Lunetta had a backyard. I have been by here a million times and now this is my impetus to actually eat there!
