Following a lecture at the 92nd Street Y or a trip to the Met, dinner at the just-upscale-enough Sfoglia completes the perfect New York day. Critically hailed for its gracious service, pretty chandeliered room and top-notch pastas, Sfoglia started out in Nantucket and opened its Manhattan location in 2006, quickly rising up the ranks of the city's best Italian eateries. Those buzzwords of "seasonal" and "local" do apply here, in plates like linguine with peas, speck and mint. Dinner seats can be hard to score; lunch is a good bet.
