Trout
The outdoor scoop: When a supposed rent squabble forced this Boerum Hill mainstay to shutter last year, sun-worshippers were crestfallen. Gone was the neighborhood’s finest outdoor perch, decorated with fishing poles, vintage signs and tables and booths far and wide. But in a stunning reversal, owner Jim Mamary finessed a new deal, once more giving south Brooklynites a spot to sip brew and munch seafood till long after sunset.
Alfresco steal: Befitting the seafood shack’s name, water-dwellers dominate the menu, none more appealing than the $8 fried calamari. Oil-crisped lengths of tender squid are served with mouth-singeing cherry peppers and a serving of cooling, house-made tartar sauce.

Trout is great and the menu is extremely reasonably priced in fact, everything on the menu (hot dogs, burger, etc) is under $10.
