Moneymen (and women) looking for a hearty Financial District lunch will find hearty, patriotically named sandwiches for under ten bucks at All American Deli (42 Water St.). The owner calls the clientele “100 percent suits,” so stop by in flip-flops and a Yankees jersey some time to shake things up.

When Egyptian-born owner Jimmy became an American citizen, he christened over a dozen of his special sandwiches in his adopted country’s honor. Standouts include the George Washington (Black Forest ham, cheddar cheese, mustard on pumpernickel with lettuce and tomato—what, no cherries?) and the Old Glory (Virginia ham, melted mozzarella with tomato and Russian dressing on a roll).
