Who's your favorite New York chef?
Anne Burrell. She was one of my mentors growing up cooking. She was my professor, so to speak.
What did she teach you?
The ropes. And how to make good pasta. Her gnocchi is really, really good.
How do you prepare before going on the show?
There is no way to prepare! The first couple days I was a nervous wreck and shaking.
Does everybody get along?
For the most part [pause]...
There's got to be some beef.
We had a couple arguments. I know Stefan and I had a couple arguments.
