Showdown alert! Mike Richter—brother of former Hill Country pitmaster Robbie Richter—swung by for a bite but declared, “No comment, no comment!” before confiding to Grossman (“I’ll tell you what I thought later”) and then walking away with a laugh. We also tried to start a brawl between Smoke Joint and Fette Sau, the other ‘cue joint on the premises, but Grossman had already exchanged friendly plates with them earlier. Drat.
