The wood paneling, wine racks and rustic chairs of chef Tom Papoutsis' Soho restaurant transmit a decidedly European vibe. It's no wonder, seeing that the chef's mother is Spanish and father is Greek. This fusion of European cultures is in his genes, and it's on his menu. A selection of taps includes hummus, scallop cerviche and a selection of grilled sausages. The entrees are full of these combo Greek/Spanish touches. The rack of lamb is infused with feta cheese, and a Spanish mackerel is pan-crisped and served with saffron broth. There's plenty of European vino available by the glass, and the small bar stays open late if you're replacing the Mediterranean diet with a liquid one. Lunch is served during the day, and the location makes it ideal for a meal in the middle of your shopping frenzy
