Yet another classic French bistro to add to your stew, this time from the owners of uptown Bistro Le Steak. This handsome Midtown spot does as much reinvention to the zinc/brass/leather Parisian brasserie look as a Camus professor's old sweater. The menu has less steakhouse stuff and more old school Gallic gastronomy like escargots, cassoulet and the legs of those slimy green jumpers.
