What is it with Todd English and hotels? The dood love them. LOVES them! He’s got Olives at the W Hotel and The Plaza Food Hall at The Plaza, and—at one point—he helmed The Libertine at Gild Hall hotel. Now, he racks up more hotel rewards points with Ça Va, his new French brasserie at the InterContinental Hotel in Time Square. The mod-elegant space, filled with mirrors and squiggly carpet patterns, features a lounge/bar area and dining room, where diners can get the full English-goes-French experience: bouillabaisse, braised octopus Niçiose, artichoke-crusted skate wing, moules mariniéres. And since this is Times Square, you gotta please the all-hours tourists! Ça Va is open from breakfast to dinner, in case your jet-lagged appetite isn’t on East Coast time yet, and English will soon debut an on-the-go market next door called Ça Va Marché, offering sandwiches and pastries. There’s also a handy pre-theatre, family-style menu (chopped salad, flat-iron steak, sautéed mushrooms). With the new Shake Shack just next door to Ça Va , pre-theater dining deals are looking up these days
