You'll find the downtown sensibility here, about 80 blocks north of its natural habitat. Lots of boldface names turn up here, but the food would hold up well even without the star power. The menu is pretty straight-forward for a French bistro, but is highlighted by some imaginitive salads, grilled fish and short ribs with mashed potatoes.
