when my pal suggested french cuisine i resisted but conceded. French food stirs illusions of fatty creme sauces and small portions was not my idea of a friday night casual evening. I was pleasantly surprised. Ian, our waiter was delightfully warm and welcoming. The decor was lovely and very lower east side. The food was well prepared and we sat and chatted for hours. I would so encourage others to check out even if for a drink.
