When the friendly French husband-and-wife owners moved their airy and bright French bistro from Bay Ridge to Carroll Gardens, their loyal following was forced to jockey for tables with the bustling Smith Street crowds. Other than the service, which is not so much slow as "European-paced", the eatery has settled in nicely, largely thanks to the traditional, Southern-accented menu. Worth mentioning is the bouillabaisse, the foie gras burger, fondue, and, if you're lucky to score a table during Bastille Day brunch, the Grand Marnier crepes.
