Beet has been a welcome addition to the restaurant scene on the south side of Park Slope. Brought to you by the folks from Mango Thai, Beet does not disappoint, with its rich sweet plum sauces and its spicy curry dishes and huge portions mixed with high quality meats and poultry. The decor is modern and intimate, and the service is prompt and accurate. The restaurant is pretty small, however, so while it is great for a date or a double date, trying to fit a party into the cozy confines is something of a challenge.
