Tag-teaming with the man behind Nobu and Tribeca Grill, Michael Bao Huynh jumps back into the ring with this Vietnamese fusion restaurant. Occupying a former warehouse in Tribeca, the cavernous size of the spice is counterbalanced by dim lighting, bamboo screens and a sunburnt-brown and olive color scheme that evokes jungle. Downtowners who scored huge with neighborhood real estate in the JFK Jr. years order cocktails at the front bar with untame names like Tiger Tails and Fly Boy, before settling in for a solid meal of Vietnamese specials as wild boar nem sausage, braised Berkshire pork belly and dungeness crab.
