David Chang is at it again, but this time you sit at a long communal bar, stay out 'til 2 a.m. and the ssams are either wrapped in lettuce or a tortilla. The late-night menu varies with options like pork-belly buns and pan-roasted stake, but considering that other chefs come to this sizzling spot for meal-breaks, it's likely that even you won't be able to order the wrong dish.
Momo's also serving whiskey-heavy specialty cocktails, like classic Old Fashioneds, dirty martinis made with pickled ramp juice and stiff Manhattans. The Don Lee-crafted drinks (he's the mastermind behind PDT), Scotches and bourbons run from $9 to $50, and keep an eye out for the ice—it's laser-carved and comes from a specialty ice-carving studio in Queens.
