The waiters wear lederhosen. The waitresses are friendly and... well-endowed. The beer come in glasses so big that you have to rest them on the bar between sips and, if you're up to it, can order Dinkelacker that comes in a two-liter boot. Yes, this what you call a true German establishment. Around since 1908 and formerly known as Cafe Fatherland, the menu at this authentic restaurant and beer garden is chock full of the usual Teutonic suspects, with a long list of schnitzels, wursts and traditional sides like spaetzle, bread dumplings and outstanding potato pancakes.
