Loreley is the latest addition to the Williamsburg beer-garden scene. Radegast Hall and Berry Park have their place, but this offshoot of the LES spot is about more than just the brews (don't worry—there are a dozen rotating German beers on tap and five by the bottle). Chef Torsten Ziebold has crafted a solid menu of traditional food both snacky and substantial. Try the Bavarian equivalent of a dirty water dog, the currywurst ($10) or the eisbein ($19) a dinner-only pork shank that you'd better split among friends if you want to save room for more pilsner. On weekends, try the German-style brunch options, like bacon scrambled eggs with schnitzel and potato pancakes or the homemade muesli. Outdoor seating is prime for summer time sipping.
