If you happened to walk around the city streets as a kid and stopped to get those awful, street-vendor hot dogs (yes, the ones that were floating in water), did you ever think that Big Apple Franks would come to this: Asian weiners? Asia Dog is a Brooklyn Flea favorite, and it now gets a permanent home. Here, these wieners come in beef, chicken and veggie varieties, but the real fun is the toppings. There's a lot more than ketchup at this small shop—check out the housemade kimchi and jalapeno mustard. Or, if you're in the mood for some meat on your meat, you can get a dog topped with barbecued pork belly, cucumber and scallions. Although the offerings are inventive, the price tag is still right—one dog will set you back $4.50, and you can score two for $8.
