Although the name might scream “fast food!,” this Tribeca tandoori train actually runs on the local track: It’s a sleek, full-service restaurant from the onetime chef team at Tamarind, and makes many leisurely stops along the Indian culinary route: from Kashmir nan (with almonds, cashew nuts, pistachios, coconut, dried apricots and cherries) to chicken tikki masala; lamb vindaloo to cornish-hen tandoori.
