When you think of cutting-edge cuisine, Murray Hill might not be the first neighborhood that comes to mind. But thanks to chef Joe Kurauchi and his unique, globe-trotting culinary pedigree, Moco Global Dining is bringing some much-needed flair to this traditionally buttoned-up hood. The sleek, airy bar is a good place to grab a cocktail, but the focus is on the far-flung and inventive menu. Traditional sushi shares menu space with Japanese-style chicken wings, baby octopus ceviche and a Hawaii hamburger garnished with a fried egg. So while you may not be able to afford a plane ticket to Tokyo, Lima or Honolulu, here's your chance to take your taste buds on the Third Avenue version of a world tour.
