Not to be confused with…OK, pardon our pizza box Italian. Park Slope’s Alta Voce is the sister of Seventh Avenue’s Sotto Voce, specializing in continental Italian cuisine like rabbit pappardelle, orecchiette with sausage and malfatti stuffed with duck, mushrooms, pine nuts and dried cranberries. A signature sautéed chicken breast dish is topped with prosciutto, fontina, parmigiano and truffle oil in white wine shallot cream sauce. We appreciate the restaurant’s obvious allegiance to all things old world, including their Dreamweaver-crafted Web site circa-1996.
