Barbetta Restaurant
- Neighborhood: Midtown West
- 321 W 46th St
- New York, NY 10036
- 212-246-9171
Barbetta may seem antique for some, but given time to adjust to the ambiance after stepping off of Restaurant Row, diners will find that they have pleasantly entered the Old World. The restaurant claims a history of firsts - including first Piedmontese restaurant in New York, first to serve polenta, white truffles and Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Its menu is an eclectic combination of the past and present. In addition to an exquisite main dining room and several private suites, the outdoor garden (complete with fountain) also serves as a dining area. Reservations are a must for this little escape from Manhattan.
