The draw at this Italian staple is chef-owner Lidia Bastianich, the magnificently popular middle-aged PBS star and mother hen to Mario Batali and restaurateur-son Joe. You probably won't find Lidia herself in this Restaurant Row's kitchen, nor crosstown at Felidia's. What you will find are multiple warmly-lit dining rooms and an outdoor garden populated by civilized pre- and post-theater crowds, heaping themselves to the prix-fixe all-you-can-eat-three-pasta special and $25 wine list. It's not Babbo, but it's easy and good.
