For cheap eats in an authentically old-fashioned atmosphere (the building is over 100 years old), Ferdinando’s can’t be beat. If you can get around the oddball hours—they’re sometimes not open when you think they’d be—the low-key menu bursts with Sicilian delicacies. Seafood is a highlight here, with the Frutti di mare salad a constant favorite. For lunches, try one of their focaccia sandwiches. A great place to bring the kids, too.
