Whether or not it's the city's best pizza is open to argument, but no one doubts it's way up there on the list. Don't expect to be coddled here - they slam the pies down in front of you, and that's about the extent of it. But the pies themselves are thin-crusted and nicely charred, the mozzarella, melted into a smooth layer, is rich and gooey. The sauce is fresh-tasting, and the toppings are terrific. Just remember - no slices.
