Lupa

Of all the jewels in the Batali crown, this Village trattoria shines just right. Less hectic than Otto and less expensive than Babbo, Lupa remains constantly jammed and consistently delicious. Getting into the urban-rustic, two-room space is worth the inevitable wait—though you'll do your best to become a regular once you sample the verdura of shaved Brussels sprouts or carciofi, the testa (yes, that would be the head cheese), or any of the homemade pastas and nightly specials.
