The Arancini Brothers have got balls. No kidding—that's their logo! The purveyors of old-school Italian grub bill themselves as New York's only company that specializes in Sicilian rice balls, Arancini actually means "little oranges" in Italian, which is what these morsels resemble when they're stuffed with all sorts of good stuff and dropped into the fryer. The brothers offer a wide variety of these treats, like a traditional variety with meat ragu or more creative types stuffed with seafood, veggies, or even sweets for dessert. They originally developed a following at the Hester Street Fair, and now they've taken over the kitchen at The Wreck Room. You can drop by the divey bar and enjoy the grub, or just drop by the bros' tiny brick-and-mortar shop to take home a selection of balls. Go ahead, laugh away.
