This easygoing Italian restaurant in the Gramercy area specializes in one thing: lasagna (how'd you guess, smarty pants). The eatery is going to serve at least eight varieties of the signature dish each day. If you're looking for something traditional, check out the Nonna's Lasagna, which combines marinara, ricotta and mozzarella. For something a little more luxurious, hit the truffle lasagna, which is baked with black truffles and chanterelles. There is also a selection of non-lasagna pastas like fussili with sausage and chard, and if you're avoiding the carbs you can score a traditional entrée like seared sea bass with mushroom ragu and roasted root veggies. The prices are reasonable for the hood, with most of the entrees clocking in at under $20.
