An East Village institution since 1894, Veniero's pastry shop has been turning out delectable desserts since today's grandparents' grandparents were around. The formula is simple, but it works wonders: Forty feet of cookies, cakes and cannolis line the entryway, while the other half houses the seating area. A equally great place for a first date or family outing, Veniero's will be around for another 100 years.
