Kiku
- Neighborhood: Cobble Hill
- 170 Smith St.
- Brooklyn, NY 11201
- 718-935-1166
- Price range: $$$ ($16-$25)
Offering the same menu of sushi, sashimi, hibachi and specialty rolls as it does at its Park Slope branches (like the jumbo 170 Roll, made with pepper tuna, tempura flakes and kawari inside, and topped with salmon, eel, pepper tuna, spici mamiji and honey wasabi sauce, $13), Kiku will attempt to lure Cobble Hillers (and down-the-block Ki Sushi loyals) with its sleek decor, dark curtains and red, loungey lights—not to mention its neighborhood-best $7 two-roll lunch deal, served with miso soup or salad (or bump it up to $8 for two specialty rolls). Also worth noting is Kiku's surprisingly long list of vegetarian sushi rolls, providing a pleasant alternative for "is that fish endangered today?" sushi enthusiasts.
