A sleek AvroKo-designed space heavy with dark wood and Edison lightbulbs serves as a backdrop for delicate Japanese cuisine. Chef-partner Eiji Takase (Iso, Match, SushiSamba) prepares cold plates of yellowtail with shishito peppers, hot plates like Kobe strip steak, and braised Kobe short ribs and sushi, of course. Rolls also get special treament and are made with ingredients like cooked squash, steamed lobster and foie gras. Fifteen sakes are available by the glass, as are creative cocktails like a sisho mojito.
