La Esquina lives up to the hype but be prepared to fight for a reservation. The food is fantastically prepared and the prices are reasonable. You have to walk through the kitchen downstairs to get to the dining room and it makes you feel like you just found a hidden gem. If you can get reservations - go, go, go.

You may think that you are pulling up to a taco stand but after going downstairs and through the kitchen, you enter a dimly lit, very sleek, very "New York" kind of scene. The loud and lively ambiance is filled with beautiful people and great food.
