If you want to sit out in the sun while enjoying some chips, guac and (of course) margaritas, the wait for a table at Blockheads in the New World Plaza can be horrendous. Well, head here. The sidewalk cafe isn't nearly as large at this casual Mexican eatery, but there is normally seating available and their drinks are just as strong. This joint offers a run-of-the-mill menu of items like fajitas, freshly made guacamole and tacos. The margaritas come in a variety of flavors and are in the $5 to $6 range, which isn't too shabby for this hood. The restaurant also stands out with its unique seating arrangement; two long communal tables near the front quickly get boisterous after everyone has downed a drink or two. Oh, and if you're looking for a good brunch deal, check out the spot's service on the weekends. You can score a combo deal (drink and an entrée) for around $15.
