Oversized rolls at discount prices cater to the Midwesterner in all of you (even if you have been feasting on NYC tekka maki since birth). This is average-grade sushi served in a fun, bustling environment decorated with that long great Japanese monster in mind. (Godzilla posters and bric-a-brac can be found at the three NYC locations). The requisite list of special rolls does impress, particularly the Jan (crabstick, cucumber, tobiko and salmon). The non-sushi offerings are monstrous in size and scope, but like most sushi spots can disappoint compared to the rolls.
