It doesn't get much older then Persia, though it is a type of cuisine many people haven't tried (especially in today's world). Based around grilled meats, chicken and rice (one type is made with sour cherries) the food can sometimes be spicy, but always tasty. The interior of Persepolis has exposed brick walls and rows of lights on the ceiling, creating a warm inviting feel. It may seem that many of the clientel are regulars, but you should never let that scare you off from trying something new.
