Zaytoons provides a popular, and much needed, Middle Eastern option in Carroll Gardens. The Marrakesh-minded decor is inviting and warm and the variety of "pitzas" are an interesting twist on an old favorite. Standard salads like hummus, babaghanouj and kebobs are above par and pita bread, soft as a kitten's ear, is made on-site to order. BYOB is available without a corking fee for one of the cheapest dates on Smith St.
