Zaytoons provides a popular -- and much needed -- option for Middle Eastern dining in Carroll Gardens. The Marrakesh-minded decor is inviting and warm. The "pitzas" are an interesting twist on an old favorite, but standards such as hummus, babaghanouj and kebobs are above par. Sadly, the restaurant is BYOW only, and the charge is $7.50 per person.
