Big bites in Little Italy

Revelers flooded the streets of Little Italy to show their fervent devotion to Naples’ patron saint, San Gennaro…uh, scratch that: their gluttonous devotion to fried dough zeppoles, coils of sausage and kitschy carnival games. This year marks the 81st anniversary of the celebrated—if touristy—Feast of San Gennaro, and nothing says “My Nonna rocks!” more than hearty bites of…funnel cake. Serve it up with an Italian accent and we’ll let this one slide.
